Recently Amanda has trained with Moon Rising Shamanic Institue in Shamanic Reiki and is excited to include what she learned into her sessions.

Amanda has been a lifelong equestrian and shared her life with many companion animals. Her passion for animals has driven her dedication to finding the best holistic healing modalities and finding ways to share them.

Specializing in Animal Reiki and Animal Communication, Amanda is excited to provide these options in her sessions.

  • I am a Reiki practitioner, life coach, equestrian, hiker (Adirondack 46er), and hobby homesteader.

  • I grew up an avid equestrian trying multiple disciplines and levels of riding. I have been lucky enough to have horses and companion animals of many varieties most of my life.

    I was a 4-H member for 14 years while showing American Paint and Pinto Horse circuits in the Northeast region of the United States.

    At the end of high school, I became certified as a therapeutic riding instructor with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl) for 10 years.

    I went to college for a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Clarkson University. I focused my Psychology degree on health psychology and had a History minor focused on healthcare.

  • I was working on my continuing education hours to maintain my certification as a therapeutic riding instructor at Equine Affaire when a class in essential oils with horses was brought to my attention.

    The presenter was Pam Allen LeBlanc, who shared that she also had a presentation later on Reiki with horses. I attended that presentation and became interested in learning more about this complimentary healing tool.

    Fast-forward to 2020 and online classes made my dream of becoming certified with Pam and the ICRT possible.

    I continued my journey, adding Animal Reiki and Animal Communication classes. These classes helped me better connect with and understand all the living beings in our world, and how we are energetically linked and can help heal each other.

    This brought animisim and shamanic practices to my attention. I have been blessed to be able to take the Soul Rising course and can not wait to add what I have learned to my practice.
